"Since I was little I had thought of becoming a teacher. My mom is a teacher so in high school I decided it was not for me. So in college I got my degree in business. Within a year of being out of school I was quite unsatisfied with the path my life was taking. After visiting Columbia I was back on my way to KC when I saw a sign that said teach math or science. I said ok and here I am. I love working with kids. I like the look they get on their face when they understand something. Plus I love math. Seeing students learn is really my chief reason for doing it, oh yeah for the money to!"
