Mathematics and Science Teacher Leadership Academy Expected Outcomes As a result of participating in the Leadership Academy, Fellows will: Share a vision for mathematics and science education; Understand themselves as leaders; Describe models of leadership and organizational change as related to mathematics and science education; Build knowledge about mathematics/science teaching and learning; Build knowledge and develop skills related to teacher leadership; Develop and implement a teacher-leadership plan; Apply strategies for effective professional development to their own contexts; Evaluate their effectiveness in achieving leadership goals.
